Buxton and High Peak Golf Club

Founded in 1887 and overlooking the Roman Spa town of Buxton is the Buxton and High Peak Golf Club. It's a 5,966 yard, 18 hole, par 69 course that has superb views from Buxton across the Peak District National Park. At 1100 feet above sea level, conditions can sometimes be windy but despite its height the course itself is not overly hilly.

There is a full calendar of competitions, both club and open

Clubhouse and Catering

The clubhouse overlooks the first and eighteenth fairways and offers excellent catering facilities along with a bar and lounge. They are able to provide for all tastes and appetites from a simple buffet or bar snack to a full dinner menu.

The clubhouse is also available for bookings for either private or corporate hospitality.

For company meetings the dining room can be booked which offers total privacy for up to 20 people in meeting style or 30 in theatre style. Audio/visual aids are available and a range of refreshments are offered from coffee and biscuits to a three course meal.

A 5 Day Lady member may only play in Four Ladies Tuesday competitions per year

A Senior must have been a Full Member for 20 years to qualify for the reduced rate.
