Have Your Say with Pavilion Gardens Support Group brought to you by Bill Weston MBE (chairman) We successfully opposed what we and the masses of the public considered was the destruction of the Pavilion for diverse public use and we now seek a positive way forward. To that end we developed our website to provide background information, report progress to date and debate where we go from here. The emphasis is on obtaining public opinion, thoughts and suggestions through our campaign "Have Your Say". We feel sure that there are a lot of good ideas out there from all ages, but we need to know. The HPBC have now sought to directly involve organisations in the town who have a special interest in securing an acceptable future for this unique set of buildings and it's grounds. A preparatory meeting involving Pavilion Gardens Support Group, Vision Buxton and HPBC took place this week setting out base parameters for future discussions. It was agreed that an advisory group be built up of representatives from many of the interested groups, thus drawing on the views of a wide spectrum. Pavilion Gardens Support Group's involvement will continue. We will act as, and represent, the voice of the people. But we need your input.
