A hundred year of worship have taken place in this church which offers wonderful views of the surrounding hills. Buxton has it fair share of criticism for its cold climate but the warm welcome you’ll receive at St James will more than make up for the countryside chill. As with all Buxton churches, there are regular services and events held throughout the year. St James' stands on the Harpur Hill Road, near the junction with Grin Low Road, near the heart of the community it serves.
